Review of Dumbo (1941) by Keegan D — 27 Aug 2013
To be honest I think Dumbo isn't Walt Disney strongest animated film. Maybe because of how short the film was. The story I think went too fast that I think some of the characters were less detailed, besides Dumbo.
The animation I think wasn't Walts strongest animation, but was good during its time. The characters I think we're the best in the film. Every character in the film were mermorable and lovable characters to watch.
If I had to choose my favorite moment in the film, it would have to be between the pink elephant scene. That probably one of the most tripping moments in film history and I love it. I know that there are some racism in the movie and yeah I think it's pretty racist.
Not only on the crows, but in the beginning of the film when they are building the circus, the only pepole that were help working were black pepole and that's pretty racist. Dumbo isn't the strongest Disney movie, but it's still a classic to show your kids.
