Review of Dumbo (1941) by Jim A — 15 Jan 2014
Its racial stereotypes are a bit much for todays audience but despite its short length Dumbo manages to capture a cartoonish charm that few animated movies can match. It also succeeds in a likeable protagonist despite the fact he doesn't speak.
Its a fun mish mash of great ideas that holds up well over 70 years past its release date.
