Review of Dumbo (1941) by Carlos M — 05 Oct 2015
This Disney Animated Classic does have a lot of charm to it. The animation is pretty good, and I do like the silent protagonist route that's taken. It also has the infamous "Pink Elephants" scene thanks to water/wine, and here's one acid trip that will make your mind dizzy.
The songs are memorable and well done, but I don't think they're as good as other Disney songs.
The movie's got a few jerkish characters, and it is SO satisfying to see them get their comeuppance in the end.
I recommend Dumbo.
