Review of Dumbo (1941) by Barry N — 10 Feb 2011

I decided to rewatch this film, since it had been years since I had seen it, and I felt that I did not have fresh enough eyes on the film to give it an honest review.

Dumbo is a wonderfully animated and visually stunning treat. It still amazes me that this film was made 70 years ago, because this animation still astounds me even to this day. There were lots of beautiful scenes that were heartwaming and lots that were funny. I don't think there is much more I can say about it. If there is a flaw it's that this film was over fast. This is an incredibly short film, just over an hour, but I felt this film could've gone one and I wouldn't have cared, because I was so invested in this film. Highly recomeneded. This is one Disney classic you can watch over and over.
