Review of Dumb and Dumber To (2014) by Stewart B — 26 Apr 2015
The low expectations for this film helped me enjoy it. I was prepared for a lot of forced comedy riddled with racist/sexist humour, but overall it was the expected low-brow humour with a spattering of racial/sexual jokes.
The film could probably never live up to the original, and does not have a lot of outrageously funny gags, but the strength of the characters makes it a pleasant little adventure. The pacing and overall production also make it easy to digest.
Not spectacular, but enjoyable.
