It is not painfully bad just painfully average and a waste of talent. I am not sure I laughed out loud until very near the end, sure there were a few chuckles along the way but not enough. One of the main issues is the characters seem different, more aware and therefore come across creepier.
It is a Farrelly film so crude and juvenile humour is a given, usually though it is a bit more imaginative.
