They duplicated all the same jokes from the first film, but not nearly as funny, with most every one of them falling flat. Daniels was atrocious, the dialogue was among the worst dialogue I've ever experienced, and there was literally nothing to come away with that was a positive. This coming from someone who would call the original film, one of, if not the funniest movie ever. But this, this was just horrible.
The movie had moments, but were so few, that it wasn't worth the watch. Daniels had both the worst lines ever written... and the worst delivery I've ever heard. He was horrible and truly pushing it way too far. If the characters weren't so beloved, this film should've received a 0%... but due to the history behind the brilliant original, I'm giving it 2 stars.
Story/screenplay was identical(in every way) to the original = F.
Cinematography(bland, flat, and bad) = F.
Production design(boring and unoriginal) = C-.
Acting = B for Carrey, D for Daniels(he was really bad).
Editing = F(it almost was a joke when they would cut out of a scene).
Overall, the film just wasn't good.
