Review of Dumb and Dumber (1994) by Steve B — 23 Nov 2012
A very crazy movie filled with all sorts of goofs, gags, spoofs and laughs hopefully that cater for different styles of humour. To some this movie could be very annoying and to others quite amusing to tears even.
I prefer Jim Carrey's character, Lloyd Christmas over Jeff Daniels's character but according to one of the features I watched it was good to have that contrast of two different types of 'dumber.
' Carrey entertains amazingly with his facial expressions and child-like behaviour, fitting for the movie. Jeff adds his variation and twist to the scenes too but not any worse, his toilet scene alone kept me in stitches.
It's the silly games and antics they play and engage in that got me laughing, most especially from within the van while on the road.
