Review of Dumb and Dumber (1994) by Ambrus V — 11 Mar 2013
Personally, this is my favourite comedy. The pairing of Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels is utterly perfect; both the actors give it their all and hit every single possible comedic note. It's funny just to see these guys sitting next to each other.
The film has become a template for gross-out comedy (for ill or good) without being too OTT. Ultimately, these guys are fun, and funnier, than any other comedy pairing I know.
