Review of Due Date (2010) by Jerry A — 30 Mar 2012
I laughed most of the way through it. It's a Zach Galifinakis vehicle with Robert Downey Jr thrown in to straighten things out.
The trouble with this film is that it's been done before - anyone seen Planes, Trains & Automobiles? Without Galifinakis, this would be a pointless waste of celluloid. It's the one liners, his mannerisms and general aloofness that make the film tick along.
Don't be fooled by the opening credits - the likes of Juliette Lewis and Jamie Foxx make brief and forgettable cameos (the only exception is Danny McBride who makes his 5 mins count).
