This film really surprised me. I was not expecting much going into it but it turned out to a really funny film bordering on hilarious. Robert Downey Jr and Zach Galifianakis play off each other superbly and turn a pretty average script into a comedy feast.

Both lead actors being the definite highlights as far as comedy goes while still adding some heart and emotional power through strong character development and relationship building. But this film is very much a comedy and is wrote as a comedy.

But it seems to be confused and repetitive in its more dramatic scenes and occasionally sadly this happens during some skits. Due Date is a incredibly entertaining film and some scenes have been wrote and directed very well and with the amazing performances from the actors, some don't only have comic gold in them but they also have real heart, which is rarely found in comedies these days.

Overall this film owes Downey and Galifanakis for brilliantly bringing both heart and fun to a film that sadly can get confused with its premise.
