Review of Dude, Where's My Car? (2000) by Michael H — 28 Jul 2009
Real quick, I'd like to quote this Review I see for this movie: "little lasting value and revelance today because nobody gives a freak where the car is cuz it harms the environment. " --lol, idiot.
Now onto the true review. I notice that the Flixster Users and Critics don't appreciate this movie that much. I think it's got an undeserved bad rep. If you want to see a Stoner movie, I recommend this one. People seem to dislike the movie for the very tenets that make this movie good- it's idiocy. The point is that the movie is THAT stupid. That's why it's funny. If you've watched That 70's Show and laughed at just HOW stupid Kelso is- imagine that humor, adding in a similar character (played by the great Seann William Scott), hot women, aliens, and a plot that is constantly getting more and more complicated for everybody involved (you'll get confused- but not as confused as Kutcher/Scott)- don't worry though, it all gets explained....sort of.... :).
I liked the movie. I'm not a huge fan of either actor but they did well and the movie accomplished exactly what it tried to- idiocy turned into humor.
"And then?".
