Review of Duck Soup (1933) by Kathleen D — 13 Feb 2008
At first, I found them annoying! unbearable! especially Harpo with the scissors! Everything is a joke to them and it's one crazy act after another. They are merciless and don't give ANYONE a second to breathe from their madness.
As the movie progressed, I started to appreciate their comedy and it's a good thing I stuck around for the ending because the funniest parts were saved for last. This movie is for everyone. Maybe their humour won't exactly suit yours, but you'd be kidding yourself if you didn't find their work genius.
