Review of Duck Soup (1933) by Gavin B — 20 May 2008
I know that this is a classic and I was really looking forward to seeing it. Unfortunately, the Marx Brothers humor doesn't work too well on me. I enjoyed the slapstick but the constant "witty" combacks became a bit gruelling after a while.
Funnily enough, it feels like watching an old Woody Allen film.
