This was my first real exposure to the Marx Brothers in action. I had only seen bits and pieces of other things prior to this film. I must say, I approve of the antics of these gents. This film does exactly what a comedy should: make people laugh.
There is a loose plot- well, more of a loose premise- which acts as a platform for one-liners, puns, and physical comedy. The story and characters can get a little confusing, but it doesn't matter, because there is no point to any of it.
It's just funny so laugh.
