Review of Duck (2005) by Chad B — 23 Jul 2008
I must admit I've been waiting a while to be able to see this movie but due to the indie circuit and hold ups with getting to commercial DVD I've had to wait quite a while. Having said that, I think it was worth it.
Philip Baker Hall does a great job carrying the movie with, in an almost Cast Away-like fashion, a character that does not respond. He is a very pleasant character and remains likeable throughout the film through all of his interactions.
The music was superb. Can be a little dry for some, as there isn't a whole lot of action or high points in the film to really keep one's interest, but seeing PBH act is such a treat.
