Review of Dry Season (2006) by Michael W — 12 Nov 2013
For fans of foreign movies, Daratt provides a fascinating insight into life in post-civil war Chad. As a single-minded revenge story, it's also a fairly dour outing, but everything is conveyed so well through the almost exclusively non-verbal performances of the cast (the facial expressions and body language of the cast speak volumes) that the film never loses the audience's attention.
Definitely one to see, but probably not one to own on DVD.
