Easily my favorite Van Sant, Drugstore Cowboy is a stylish little film that has managed to retain a feeling of originality for 20 years. Dillon & Lynch are fantastic as Bob & Diane, a couple of pharmacy junkies.
The narrative is told/shown via Bob & Matt Dillon plays him with complexity & humour. Definitely worth a viewing.
