Review of Drugstore Cowboy (1989) by Uncle Walty — 13 May 2008
Has an interesting noirish attitude throughout. I've never been a huge fan of Dillon, and even though this is a Van Sant film, I still didn't enjoy his performance. Well written monologues to begin and close the film.
Inherently brilliant Van Sant cinematography. Good film, but not great like Van Sant's latest. It is interesting to see how his style has progressed.
