Review of Drowning Mona (2000) by Mark H — 08 Sep 2008
This is one of those rare gems. It's a small film in the best sense of the phrase.
This is a character ensemble film that are all united by Yugos and a passionate hatred for Mona. There isn't a single person in town without a credible motive for wanting to bump her off.
Bette Midler is outstanding and the rest of the ensemble are only a hair behind her.
Highly recommended.
