Review of Drowning Mona (2000) by Cli O — 18 Nov 2008
A superb cast portray a misanthropic community caught up in the death of a particularly nasty neighbour. A white trash whodunnit, Mona's nasty but hilarious dialogue amuses throughout, Affleck, Midler and Campbell especially fitting their roles perfectly.
This little gem would have made a brilliant TV serial.
