Review of Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) by Richard H — 09 Mar 2008
This dark comedy is a masterpiece of satire. On one hand, glittery and camp, on the other wickedly tasteless, the jokes strike you like a drag queen's claws. Bitchy enough for the girls and dark enough for the guys, everyone should love this film.
The climax however, comes about half an hour before the end of the film, leaving the rest of it feeling a little drawn out. But a brilliant film nonetheless.
