I love Rik! Watched the Young Ones as a teen and decided then to see this. It is a terribly fun movie. It is absolute silliness. The plot does have a grown up spin on a young woman trying to escape her mother's expectations of her---blah!!!! Just have fun with this! I have shared this with all the wonderful people I know capable of making mud pies for MegaBeasts.
If you are looking for something deep and meaningful, keep going. This is pure fun, pure, ridiculous fun. If you think the movie is awful......well, stop taking the green pills and loosen up a bit, You MegaBeast.
If you enjoy Rocky Horror Picture show and other movies that are just for the pure fun of it----watch on! It is terible fun-pinky swear!
