I remember watching this movie dozens of times growing up, because I used to think it was the funniest fucking thing ever. I was glad to finally be able to watch it again recently, and I'm still convinced that Drop Dead Fred is funny as shit.
A young girl has a very naughty imaginary friend that gets her into so much trouble, she is forced to banish him from her mind for several years. Now that she is grown up, Fred is back and causing mass amounts of turmoil in her life thanks to his wacky shenanigans.
A lot of the jokes in this are really childish and stupid, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy all of it. Classic little film with some good performances. Phoebe Cates is fun to watch. What the hell ever happened to her? She was so huge in the 80's and 90's! Oh well.
