Review of Driving Miss Daisy (2015) by Chirag J — 05 Dec 2007
What I liked in the movie was the fact the morgan freeman's character "Hoke" was very truthful abt his feelings. His accent was difficult to pick but the mannerisms were impeccable. Jessica Tandy brilliantly enacted the central character of a person who wouldn't let someone "drive" her life as it were but yet be so much of a person who wants to "drive" everybody's attention to her.
I guess Dan who played the son was very lovable in the sense he never took sides between his mom and wife and loved the imbalance between the two. Overall a movie I always wanted to see from my childhood and how I wished I had seen it earlier.
