The film was thought provoking with its slavery and antisemitism undertones, but the overall atmosphere of the film was gentle and kind. After reading that this film won the Oscar for Best Picture, it kind of surprised me a little.

The film was pretty straightforward, and the film's message was quite interesting. Toward the beginning you will noticed some of the white characters had some racial tensions among themselves, but as the film progressed, it seemed they became a fan of Martin Luther King, Jr.

out of nowhere. I guess Miss Daisy saw the light, and figured out that African Americans were humans just like all of us while riding in the car with Morgan Freeman's character throughout the whole film.

The film was interesting during the first half, but it gradually got a little slow and boring toward the second -- that was when I began to fell asleep. Honestly, I didn't even catch the ending all that much, and I really don't know how the film ended.

But it doesn't really matter all that much. Again, the film was pretty straightforward, though not as predictable as I thought it would be, finding the film ended via Google search would probably shed some light.

The film's supporting cast was a little mediocre at times, and I felt most didn't even contribute to the film all that much. But overall, the film was quite entertaining, to an extent. The film's score was a little cheap.

Though this was released during the 1989/1990 movie season, I was shocked that Hans Zimmer would use a synthesizer to create some of the music.
