Review of Driving Miss Daisy (2015) by Daniel G — 22 Oct 2008
Touching, compelling. I loved the whole plot in the movie throughout, great casting yet again. Great direction for a director to take. Moving scenes, funny lines, touching story in general. I could watch this movie 100 times through or more and it would still move me :) It's a very heartfelt sincere story.
And this movie is not racist. Anyone can work for anyone. Some of these reviews on here stray from the actual movie plot. If you want to see racism go to certain parts of Mississippi where whites call blacks the n word and it's ok for blacks to call whites the h word.
That's true racism. A black man working for a white woman, or a white man working for a black woman for instance is not racism. Because racism would be if this woman only hired a white cab driver, notice that she still dealt with him and they got along more to the ending.
This is not racism. this is the uniting of races working together to understand each other.
