Review of Driving Miss Daisy (2015) by John P — 22 Nov 2009

This movie could have been much worse, but they didn't exactly pull off a moving, inspirational plot that it should have been. Of course you call on Morgan Freeman to lead and you're gonna get good acting out of you movie, and Tandy does a great job in her role too.

But there's no conflict, nothing to resolve, and no real great way to finish it off. It's incredibly sugarcoated, but it's also incredibly uneventful. It must have received no competition for the 1990 Best Picture, because there are many better movies than this.
