As a proud Black Man this movie offended me in the beginning and I almost switched channels. All the while I am wondering who were the hillbillies that gave this an Oscar award. However as the story developed I started to appreciate Jessica's character and in the end I almost shed a little tear.
It is truly a great story of a pure friendship. I know that when they eventually remake this movie in about 2030, the characters will end up having sex.
