Review of Driving Miss Daisy (1989) by Joe H — 14 Jan 2011
This must have been a hard sell: old black man befriends old Jewish woman when he becomes her driver. He drives her for a number of years, not much happens and then they get too old and the film ends.
Despite this lack of excitement, it's a well crafted and very well acted movie. The only bad aspect of the film is the use of 80's synth in the score, which seems out of place now.
