Review of Driving Miss Daisy (1989) by Mad M — 12 Jul 2010

This is a really well acted movie, but I couldn't help but wonder when the movie was actually supposed to begin. It wasn't exactly boring, but as a character study I found it a bit odd. I got the feeling that this movie was either too subtle or not subtle enough-- it seemed like the characters changed their perspectives overnight.

I know the movie takes place over 25 years or so, but it didn't feel like it. I dunno, it was good and all but I wasn't blown away by anything but the acting.
