If this movie was supposed to be an ironic send-up of classic 1980s high school movies, then it would be great. Sadly, I think we're supposed to take it seriously and find Melissa Joan Hart's acting quirky and fun.
It isn't, but boy is this a film you can laugh AT rather than WITH. That's the only way I can recommend it...so bad it's *almost* (but not quite) good.
