Review of Drive Angry (2011) by Tony's F — 11 Sep 2011

"Drive Angry" is an over the top and violent action film, that is full of alot of high speed car chases, alot of cars blowing up, alot of shooting and alot of peoples blood splattering all over the place, and (Nic Cage) having sex with a waitress while shooting down about 10 guys. Yes this is a fun movie, but should only be watched by people that can prove to the blockbuster clerk that they are old enough to see people getting shot dead nearly every few minutes throughout this Grindhouse/Tarantino type of flick.

(Nic Cage) in this movie comes back from the dead, well actually from hell for revenge to kill his daughters killer. His daughters killer is the leader of some sort of crazy satanic cult, and one night he killed (Nic Cage's) daughter and stole her baby. The reason why the satanic dude stole the baby is due to the satanic cult's beliefs in crazy magic. They believe on a certain night when its the full moon, they will than murder the baby in hope for eternal life. So in other words these guys need to be locked up in "Shutter Island" with Leo Dicaprio. (Cage) cant let this happen, so he decides to escape from hell, and some how get back to earth and stop all this madness. Tho he will need a car, so that is when the sexy (Amber Heard) comes into the picture. Long story short, she has nothing to live for so she happily will drive (Nic Cage) everywhere he wants to go, and kill about 100 people on the way, and just be two angry people driving a car. Yes, like I said this is an over the top film but that doesnt mean its a bad movie at all.

(William Fichtner), the dude from "Prison Break" and the guy from the bank hold up in "The dark night", has a pretty funny role in this movie. He basically is some sort of accountant from hell, and has come to earth to track (Cage) down so he can bring him back to hell haha. Put it like this guys, if you are bored at home one day, and sick of listening to (grouchyeditor) making fun of you, and bored of (Quinn B,s) reviews, than hire this out and expect some violent and crazy fun. But just dont expect much more than that.
