B-Movie goodness. So ridiculous it's hilarious. Not quite Grindhouse, but surely entertaining when the mood strikes you...that mood being dumb. So yes, I'm admitting I am dumb because I really enjoyed this insanely stupid idea as a movie. Nicholas Cage may be overtaking Jason Statham as the king of Hollywood B-movies...but a movie with both of them would be spectacular. I didn't love Billy Burke, and the others are disposable, but William Fichtner is GOLD. Solid Fort Knox Gold. Every scene he's in is his. I won't insult you with the plot other than to say Cage breaks out of Hell to avenge his daughter's murder...yes that's right.
More than hilariously nuts if you're in the mood; If not, then avoid this like Herpes.
