Review of Drive Angry (2011) by Tim J — 10 Nov 2011
"Drive Angry" gives you exactly what you might expect; a gratuitous amount of angry driving. The tone is immediately apparent, but the details are intentionally left ambiguous until a later point.
The writer managed to toss in a few twists, and the actors played their parts well, which helped the movie feel more dynamic and competent. Unfortunately, this was almost ruined by blatant plot holes and poor use of special effects.
Two crashes and one explosion were particularly jarring, as they seemed extremely fake. Despite these flaws, I didn't feel like I had wasted my time, so it was a movie worth watching.
