Review of Drive Angry (2011) by Adityo K — 29 Mar 2012
Drive Angry (2011).
Directed by: Patrick Lussier.
R, 1 hr. 44 min.
Release Date: February 25, 2011.
Fun to gore shoot em up as flowed into the opening sequence with enough fire power to end a movie it increases to ferocity to liken and hard edged action carries hilarity in abundance levels of gore to either make cure wince of topple in fits laughter. The soo Very cool granddaddy of revenge played by an unblinking Nicolas Cage as we`ve grown to understand excessive violence to an over-embellished degree in films like' jonnah hex' and 'ghostrider' to name a few give his repetitive character theme diversity like tom hanks but the flair of say kurt russel thrown in with combat big Arnie would be proud of. It is a sick and twisted sex, violence and ghastly brutal graphic killing spree in like to a 'grind-house' treat or plain old 'tarrentino leaving nothing to a blood fest imagination' as it splats from scene to scene but viewers will either like or dislike in a few minutes into the film> I even watched all the extras with a Duke Nukem like shooter talle-up on one of them that sped through the whole film/picture slowing up to show the kill and smack a score in a drop down box top right of screen. Something different as is a little monotonous genre unless you cant step back and your eyes are glued to every humorous second.
