Finally, we get to see what a movie as self-unawarely, unflinchingly God-awful as a Birdemic or The Room would look like with major players! I was mostly wide-eyed for the duration, wondering if I was finding myself on the outs of a really strange million-dollar inside joke.

I continue to appreciate Nic Cage, however, for either the demonic brilliance or anarchic apathy of role choices that have led me down this reality-questioning rabbit hole.
