I've never been a Gosling guy, but oh my days. For him to carry a film with almost no dialogue on his part truly impressed me.And the supporting cast synergy made this hyperviolent arthouse film well worthy of the praise its received.

I've always been an advocate for book before movie. But this depiction of James Sallis's book was quite the ride away from its source material in some ways. But it pulls it off very comfortably.
