Uneven at times, but what the movie brings in style and narrative quality is not easily comparable to other movies of this genre or time. Everything is told with class and the imagery and sound design are all top notch, giving the movie an impressive dramatic tone that not much others achieve, all nicely balanced under a story thats gripping and well told overall.
