Hands down, the best film of 2011. Drive is a quiet, brutal, and fascinating combination of grindhouse and art-house films. I'll admit I've never been a Gosling fan, but he gives the best performance of his career in this masterpiece. Some wanted the film to be more action packed, (like a bad Fast and Furious sequel), but not me. I was mesmerized by the film.
