I'm not sure if I liked this film or not. It was definitely unique. It was extremely violent and hyper-stylized. At times, it was hard to tell why Ryan Goslin's character behaved the way he did - it would have been nice to have some more character development there.
But maybe the point was just to show his actions and not to explain. In any case, I found it hard to empathize with or connect with any of the characters because I didn't feel invested in their motivations.
