Review of Drinking Buddies (2013) by Chris Y — 26 Feb 2014
Johnson and Wilde have amazing chemistry and this film touches on alcoholism like I haven't seen since "The Spectacular Now". I felt the same in this film as I did watching "Now".
The word is never mentioned, but you can see how it affects these characters and make you feel for them in the worst of ways. Kendrick and Livingston provide a solid balance for the main cast. The mumblecore genre is turning out to the one of my favorites to watch.
