Review of Drillbit Taylor (2008) by Jim W — 07 Jun 2009
Owen Wilson stars as a homeless man who's hired by 3 high school freshmen to be their bodyguard. They don't realize that he's homeless or that he has been robbing them. But deep down Drillbit does care for the kids and wants to help them stand up to their bullies.
The movie isn't the funniest Judd Apatow produced movie. Nor is it the best movie Seth Rogen has helped write the script for. It does have some charm though. While Wilson and the kids were entertaining. I especially liked David Dorfman (The Ring) as the weirdest of the three kids.
