Review of Drillbit Taylor (2008) by Josh R — 06 Feb 2009

This movie follows three kids who are consistently bullied and look to hire a body guard who ends up being none other than the washed up Wilson. I was drawn to it due to the fact that it was Seth Rogen but was a tad deterred by the fact that Owen Wilson was in it.

I was however, surprised by this flick. It's totally predictable and gives you the cheap laughs that we all know are tied to the genre. I was, however, pleasantly caught off guard by a few surprisingly humorous scenes.

It's fun to watch if you're a public movie goer looking to be entertained but don't expect anything spectacular or Rogen-ish.
