Nothing wrong with being a Hitchcock copy cat if you're doing it right, and Brian De Palma sure is in this psychological thriller, in which the cross dressing killer is one of the scariest murderers ever seen on the screen.
The elevator scene is unforgettable. After 27 years, this still works for me...
