If you watch it without the idea in your head of the original judge dredd movie..it's an okay movie on it's own.

But in comparison to Stallone..nothing touches him as dredd ..he IS dredd.

However in fairness..I did view it like it was just a separate story..and enjoyed it that way. think they should have just made it about a different judge or whatever and the reactions may have been different.
