Visually impressive (the slow motion is used to great effect in this film) and having a coherent story line, the second stab at the film adaptation of the iconic dystoptian anti-hero deserves much more praise than the first one.
It certainly makes no apologies to its high-octane action sequences and high-pressurized blood spurts. An understated performance by Karl Urban and competent interpretation by Olivia Thirlby here.
