Review of Dredd (2012) by Emlyn J — 30 May 2014
A damned good film, which I loved. After the yawn inducing Avengers Assemble, Dredd was a joyous breath of fresh air. A simple day in the life story, in which Dredd shows a rookie the ropes is the perfect introduction to Dredd and Mega City One.
It served to right the wrongs of the scandalous Stallone twaddle, which failed in the attempt to shoe-horn in a vast number of disparate story lines and change Dredd's personality.
