Review of Dredd (2012) by Paul J — 10 May 2015
A very cool and exciting action film shot in a particular style. The whole film centers around an apartment block and if you've seen The Raid Redemption, you'll know what I'm talking about.
It's a whole lot better than the Stallone Dredd and refreshingly the lead baddie is a tough chick. Not to mention, his partner is a strong female character. The action is gritty and intense and won't disappoint fans of the genre.
That said, the film lacks substance and ultimately doesn't have much to say.
