Review of Dreamscape (1984) by Eric A — 02 Sep 2010
Fine '80s cheese with more class than it probably deserves thanks to von Sydow and Plummer (who can cross "acting opposite Sully from 'Commando'" off his bucket list). Dennis Quaid embodies a wry confidence and though most of the film is a paint-by-numbers thriller, the dream sequences are pulled off with aplomb.
Chris Nolan, eat your heart out (don't).
